  • ANTH490 Advanced Topics in Paleoanthropology (Winter 2021). Capstone and advanced science writing course on paleoanthropology, with a focus on the study of dentition in the fossil record.
  • ANTH490 Evolution of Cognition (Spring 2020). Capstone and advanced science writing course on the evolution of cognition in humans, with a focus on comparative behavioral studies in mammals and evidence of cranial change in the fossil record.
  • ANTH215 Intro to Biological Anthropology (Fall 2019; Winter 2020; Spring 2020; Winter 2021; Fall 2021; Winter 2022).  General Undergraduate Requirement that introduces students to breadth of biological anthropology, from evolution and the fossil record, to genetics, to bioethics, to modern human variation. This course is taught as a lab course, 78 students.
  • ANTH420 Human Osteology and Forensics (Winter 2020; Spring 2021; Fall 2021; Spring 2022). Methods course in human osteology and forensics. Students learn the anatomy of the human skeleton and how it is used in the forensic sciences to identify remains.
  • ANTH423 Human Evolution (Spring 2021; Spring 2022). Methods course in human evolution and the hominid fossil record. Students learn about the morphological differences between hominid fossil groups and conduct a research project comparing morphology.
